I am descended from Isaac Errett and planning on visiting Muir..Still looking for his home he and his family lived in sometime in the late 1850's...He had stock in the lumber mill and was close friends with the Soules and Robinsons...One of his sons, a Civil War vet lived his remaining life there until 1912 when he died and was buried in our family plot in Spring Grove Cemetary, Ohio..
I read that Rev Isaac Everett and James Garfield were hosted at the home of William Milligan Jr and his wife Minnerva (Minnie) Murray Milligan. The Milligan's were the parents of Bertha and Edith. Bertha is the one that married Loren Phillip Brock and the park on M-21 was named after her for her service to the Park Commision.
